Wherever you want to go in South East London you’ll never be far away from a tube or rail station. Major stations are located in the South and East of London but there’s plenty of buses and tubes to get you close to the action.

The closest major rail stations to the South East area of London are Victoria Station [map] and Waterloo Station [map].

Victoria Station offers express services to cities and towns in Kent, Sussex, and Hampshire in the South of England including Dover, Ashford, Brighton, Chichester, Southampton and Portsmouth. Suburban services include Croydon, Bromley and Epsom. A Gatwick Express service also runs from this station.

Tube connections include District, Circle and Victoria Lines. Stationlink buses offer departures every hour to other London stations. Victoria Coach Station is at the rear of the rail station and allows easy connection to coach services and the Heathrow Airbus.

Waterloo Station [map] incorporates the London Eurostar terminal and offers high speed services to Paris, Brussels, and Lille. There are also express services to cities and towns in the south of England such as Southampton, Basingstoke, Reading and Portsmouth. Suburban services including Windsor, Wimbledon, Hampton Court and Richmond.
