For a great night out try some authentic cabaret at George & Dragon [map], Blackheath Hill, Greenwich. With a selection of top acts on offer you’re sure to have a giggle. Stay in Greenwich for a range of traditional pubs. Head to The Gloucester at King William Walk, or The Rose and Crown [map], Crooms Hill, for laid-back drinking and a good place to socialise with friends. Funkier folk tend to head to The Crash Bar [map], The Albert Embankment, which has a young energetic crowd of mainly men who enjoy some lively Friday and Saturday nights. If you prefer al fresco drinking make the most of summer nights with a visit to Dukes [map], Kennington Lane, which has a huge beer garden and makes for a perfect pint on a warm evening.
