Self-Catering in Sheffield |
 |
 |
Whether you prefer
to create culinary delights at home or want to sample
the range of eateries Sheffield has to offer, self-catering
accommodation gives you the option to do either or
both.
If you’re hoping to stay within walking distance
of the city centre then try KSpace apartments located
in the Devonshire Green Quarter of the city. These modern
non-smoking apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen,
satellite TV that can be viewed on the big screens provided,
and stylish bedrooms complete with duvets. Apartments
are available for two to six people but guests must stay
for a minimum of two consecutive nights. Other
features include secure parking, laundry service and grocery
delivery available on request.
A little further out, but still within easy reach of the
city centre, The Flat [map] offers accommodation to suit families or groups of up
to four people. This accommodation has laundry facilities
on site and private parking as well as a fully furnished
apartment in which to relax after a hard day sightseeing.
And if you can’t bear to leave your four-legged
friend behind, arrangements can be made to bring them
along at the time of booking.
If you’d rather mix the excitement of the city with
the calm of the countryside then Millthorpe Cottage [map] might be for you. Located in the village
of Holmesfield in the Peak District National Park,
the accommodation is close to both city and countryside.
The residence itself is a semi-detached cottage that offers open plan dining and kitchen facilities with
room for up to three guests and a well-behaved pet.
Another option would be Fold Farm [map] in Troway. With a minimum stay of three nights,
this is a convenient option for those looking for a short
getaway to recharge their batteries. Complete with fully
furnished open plan kitchen, this accommodation offers great views and sleeps up to four people.
Those travelling in a larger group may find Parsonage
House [map] in Thurlstone a useful option. This
non-smoking establishment can accommodate up to 14
people under one roof including children over the
age of eight. With all the conveniences you’d expect
from a five-star rated self-catering residence,
as well as private parking facilities, this is ideal for
larger families or groups. You may also be able to bring
your pet along by prior arrangement.
If Sheffield has a lingering attraction for you, then
you could opt for an apartment run by the Charnwood
Hotel [map]. They have a number of self-contained apartments
to the west of the city, available on a six or 12-month
lease. The accommodation varies in size from one bedroom
to three bedroom apartments, but all can be found on leafy
streets around Sheffield.
Other self-catering options include Apartment 9 [map],
St Pauls Chambers, Foxholes Farm [map] and Hangram Lane Farmhouse [map], which has a minimum
stay of two nights.
