Comedy In Plymouth |

Comedy clubs are more popular than ever before because
they can offer a complete night out with hilarious entertainment,
slap-up meal and dancing all rolled into one.
And if you’re planning an evening at one of Plymouth’s
funny venues then you’ll be pleased to know the
city has a choice of venues, some with regular appearances
from top comedians.
There’s Club Fandango [map] on Elliot Street, a popular nightclub that hosts a stand-up
comedy night every Thursday.
Now in its seventh year, this place has been voted by
the comics themselves as one of the best clubs in the
country for atmosphere. The venue attracts plenty
of national and international talent every single week.
There's also The Comedy Club at B Bar [map] at the Barbican Theatre on Castle Street, which brings
up-and-coming and renowned comedians from the UK and beyond
to Plymouth on the first Wednesday of every month.
Alternatively, if you’re looking for a comedy venue
on a weekend try The Sign Café Bar [map] on Tavistock Place in the North Hill area of the city,
which brings together a great mix of local and national
comics.
