Self-Catering in Nottingham |

 |
When you’re
on holiday you don’t want to be bound by schedules,
so why not check into self-catering accommodation and
have everything your own way. There are a number of holiday
cottages and serviced apartments in and around Nottingham,
some with wonderful country views.
Perhaps the most established self-catering accommodation
in the city are the SACO Apartments [map] just off Derby Road, which are part of a worldwide chain.
These stylish and contemporary one- and two-bedroom
apartments have commanding views over a park, and are
conveniently located for all the major city centre attractions.
Each of the apartments has a large living and dining area,
fully equipped kitchen and furnished bedrooms. There is
also a satellite TV, music centre, washer dryer and off-road
parking.
Also located in central Nottingham on Ropewalk Court are
the Day Serviced Apartments [map],
a number of luxury flats close to local amenities. This
city living development offers one- and two-bedroom apartments
with a fully equipped kitchen, dining and sitting areas,
and separate bathroom.
If you’re looking for a country setting then check
out the Woodview Cottages [map] situated at Newfields
Farm in the Owthorpe area of Nottingham. Here
you’ll find two idyllic stone cottages nestled in
the centre of a working farm surrounded by beautiful
gardens and woodland. Both homes have log-burning
fires and oak beams, along with a fitted kitchen, two
bedrooms, lounge and bathroom.
Finally, for cheap and cheerful self-catering accommodation
in the city centre try Victoria Hall [map] on Curzon Street, a student complex that is open to tourists
between July and September.
