Dating in North London |

So it’s that
time again when you’re single and on the look out
for someone to rescue you from ‘meal for one’
nights in, why not see what’s on offer at the bars
in North London.
At the Elbow Room [map] you may find the sort of person who has an air of cool
about them but fortunately isn’t too cool to wash;
someone who can pop a ball in a hole with relative ease
but likes to do it somewhere where their talents won’t
go unnoticed for too long. The competition at this stylish
venue may be great but the prize could be worth it.
If you want your new partner to be a one of the uber fashionable
Hoxton set then head for Hoxton Square. The bars
and restaurants here should offer you several options
from the typically trendy Trafik [map] to the minimalist cool of the Shoreditch Electricity
Rooms.
Bluu [map] is also in Hoxton but lacks the pretentiousness you may
find in other bars in the area. Finding a potential mate
in here may give you the best of both worlds, someone
who looks good but doesn’t break the bank trying
too hard.
Dating events can sometimes take the trauma out of that
initial approach to that fine looking person at the bar,
although they can sometimes mean you have to chat to a
few frogs as part of the bargain. If you want to try your
luck in north London The Chapel bar [map] is where events like speed dating and dating
in the dark take place.
If you’ve got as far a getting a date and want to
take them somewhere impressive but intimate then try the
bar at Jamie Oliver’s restaurant Fifteen
[map] . Located in the warehouse part of town on Westland
Place you can share tapas and sup cocktails until the
mood takes you on somewhere else.
