Accomodation in North London |
 |
 |
So your invite from
the Queen to stay at Buckingham Palace got lost in the
post – nevermind, it’s not as convenient for
exploring the area as the north London places to stay
are anyway.
If you’re looking for the best of the accommodation
on offer, you should consider the four star frills of
the Hilton Islington [map].
As well as the comforts of a quality hotel, staying at
the Hilton Islington means can also make the most of the
location. You should find travelling to The City quick
and easy from here but you can also enjoy the great restaurants and bars close to the hotel.
Another option in the area would be the three-star Jurys
Inn [map].
Whether you’re looking for a budget
stay or just a relaxed home from home, there are several bed & breakfast and guest
house accommodations to choose from. They are spread
across the area, but most are close to public transport
links so you can consider staying in a quieter area of
north London knowing that you won’t have to miss
out on anything the area has to offer.
When choosing your place to stay you could also consider
making the most of the leafy village characteristics of
the area and opt for a room
with a view. Although there aren’t too many
options for picturesque panoramas from hotels in north
London, if you’re willing to venture further afield
then you shouldn’t be disappointed.
If you’d rather set up your own place to stay then
head to Lee Valley Camping and Caravan Park [map], where
there’s space to pitch a tent or park your holiday
wagon. The site itself has good modern facilities and
in addition caters for children with an onsite adventure
playground area. Certainly worth considering if you’re
on a budget or just looking to add a different dimension
to your accommodation experience.
