Self-Catering in Manchester |
 |
 |
If you prefer to
Do-It-Yourself why not take advantage of Manchester’s
range of self-catering apartments instead of taking the
easy option of just heading to the nearest B&B.
With a serviced apartment not only do you get the flexibility
to eat when you want, you’ll also have more of an
excuse to sample the delightful eateries around the city.
And the fact that you still get a cleaning service, bed
linen and towels thrown into the bargain makes self-catering
all the more appealing.
The largest choice of self-catering accommodation is at The Place Apartment Hotel [map] in Piccadilly – right in the heart of the city centre.
Here you’ll find 108 spacious four star apartments
in a renovated Grade II listed old warehouse, each with
en suite facilities. Secure car parking and seminar rooms
are also available.
Also in Manchester’s bustling centre is the Somerset
Atrium [map] on Princess Street, which has a number of serviced apartments
within the urban setting of a Grade II listed building.
The accommodation is close to Chinatown and many attractions,
including the Palace Theatre and Odeon cinema.
If you like to cook your own meals but enjoy a little
bit of looking after then maybe the Howard Johnson
Service Apartments will be right up your street.
As well as 22 fully furnished apartments in the central
Dale St location, this complex also offers a food delivery
service so you can spend more time sightseeing than food
shopping.
If you prefer to be outside the city centre but close
to local amenities and attractions then try the Oakfield
Court Apartment Hotel in Sale. There are 11 luxurious
apartments for rent on a one-week or longer term, with
car parking and en suite facilities. The apartments are
just ten minutes from the city centre, Salford Quays,
and the Trafford Centre and close to Sale Water Park.
To get a taste of life in one of Manchester’s most
up-and-coming districts then opt for the deluxe La
Suisse self-catering Apartments [map] in scenic Prestwich. Located close to the glorious Heaton
Hall and Park, the block consists of five three star beautifully
furnished apartments, each with a lounge, kitchen, bedroom
and bathroom.
Also situated outside of town but in an area of urban
chic are the Didsbury Park Properties [map],
just four miles from the central attractions, bars and
restaurants. There’s a studio and a selection of
one and two-bedroom apartments, which all come complete
with cleaning services, bed linen and towels from just
£40 a night or £165 a week.
