There are a
number of different ways you can look for accommodation
on the gosomewhere site and this part of the
guide tells you how.
Using the hotel search function
There are a number of ways to access the hotel search
facility on the site:
From the homepage – simply fill out your
search criteria, click on the search button and wait
for the results to appear, from here you can find hotels
from across the UK not just the selected cities.
From a city homepage - simply fill out your search
criteria, click on the search button and wait for the
results hotels in your chosen city to appear.
From the ‘places to stay’ section within
a city - simply fill out your search criteria, click
on the search button and wait for the results to appear.
From this page you can choose to search for accommodation
from any of the specific cities
Using the top level links available from every page – This will take you to a dedicated hotel search
page, where you can search for hotels across the UK.
Simply fill in the search criteria and click on the
search button and wait for your results to appear.
If your results do not appear, check the criteria you
have entered and try again. If the problem persists
use the contact us form to let us know.
NB the hotel search only finds hotel information, if
you are looking for Bed and Breakfast or any other type
of accommodation that is not a hotel, you will need
to use the business directory.
Reading the guides
Once you have selected a specific town, you will be
able to choose ‘places to stay’ section
by clicking on the text of the places to stay box on
the home page or selecting the option from the main
right hand navigation menu.
This will take you to an overview of the accommodation
in the city. Underneath this overview you will see a
number of options and clicking on the text will take
you to the subject detail:
Go Luxury – tells you about some of the
luxury accommodation your chosen city has to offer.
Go Budget - tells you about some of the cheaper
accommodation your chosen city has to offer.
Go Country/ Go Scenic - tells you about accommodation
in your chosen city that is either in the country or
offers a rural feel.
Go self-catering - tells you about some of the
self-catering accommodation your chosen city has to
offer.
Go Guesthouse - tells you about some of the guesthouse
accommodation your chosen city has to offer.
Go B&B - tells you about some of the bed
and breakfast accommodation your chosen city has to
offer.
The aim is that these sections will help you make a
more informed decision about your accommodation choice.
Booking accommodation with HotelSomewhere
You can use the search options to find a hotel that
will suit you. The results will be shown in a new window,
then, once you have found a hotel you are happy with
you can book it right there and then with the online
booking facility.
Simply enter all the details as requested until the
booking is made.
