Don’t just
sit there getting bored, there’s plenty to see and
do in Harrogate, and if you want to get fit yourself,
this is a great place to do it.
Leisure centres in this region are particularly good.
The Rossett Sports Centre [map], Pannal Ash Road, offers a great range of facilities and you don’t
have to sign up for membership to use them.
If you want to play football there’s lots of clubs offering five-a-side and
coaching for youngsters as well as those with a bit of
experience. Try Harrogate Gateway Club, which offers
opportunities for all including those with disabilities.
Those who would prefer to watch the experts in action
should enjoy a day of traditional football at Harrogate
Town FC on Wetherby Road.
Rugby is a real spectator sport
for the whole family to enjoy. If you’re looking
for a great way to spend an afternoon or evening a visit
to The County Ground [map] on Claro Road, could
be the answer.
