The Harrogate International Centre [map] on Kings Road, is a great place to catch music of all varieties.
This is definitely the place to catch the big names who
are touring the country and the likes of ever-popular
Daniel O’Donnell, Lulu and Jools Holland have all
performed here. Some of the best tribute bands in the UK also grace the stage throughout the year. The Blues Bar [map] on Montpellier Parade offers a range of good blues music in a relaxed atmosphere, complete with an Egyptian restaurant to keep those hunger pangs at bay. For live music in Harrogate you can also head to The Honest Lawyer [map], Cold Bath Road, on Thursdays to see more blues action or catch some of the best local bands there every Friday and Saturday. Those who like some smooth jazz should head to The Mire Hotel in Knaresborough, or The Majestic Hotel [map] on Ripon Road in Harrogate, for a Friday night of jazz fun.
