Getting around Harrogate
is much easier than navigating some of Yorkshire’s
other popular towns.
Harrogate has good parking facilities in the city
centre. There are three multi-storey car parks and five
surface level car parks.
If you are planning on using Harrogate’s car parks
it might be worth investing in a Smart Card. It
saves having to fumble around for small change when you’re
in a hurry and you’ll also be able to make big savings
on parking fees. For more information about the Smart
Card facility visit the Concessionary Fares and Parking
Shop, Level 10, Victoria Multi-Storey Car Park, East Parade,
Harrogate.
Getting around Harrogate by bicycle is also made simple
as there’s plenty of routes to take. You can also
use the secure bike lockers at the Victoria Car
Park and the Jubilee Car Park which can be found at Union
Street.
The bus station opened in 2002 at Station Parade and offers a good range of facilities including toilets
and a travel centre. From this station you can catch a
bus to other parts of Harrogate as well as York (which
offers connections to further afield), Bradford, Leeds,
Ripon and Knaresborough.
