Scenic Accommodation in East London |
 |
 |
When considering somewhere
scenic to stay east London will probably not come to
mind, but there are some places to stay in the area
that come with beautiful scenery as standard.
However you class a scenic hotel, whether it’s the
hotel itself or its surroundings, the Sunborn Yacht
Hotel [map] is sure to qualify. Because it is moored in the historic Royal Victoria Docks [map] of east London means that this floating hotel enjoys an
impressive waterfront setting - scenic by any definition.
And the hotel itself is classy and elegant throughout,
from the lounges, to the restaurants, to the rooms.
If beautiful views make the difference for you, then you
should consider the Thistle Tower Hotel [map].
Boasting ‘superb views’ across London from
each of their 800 rooms and suites, scenery here certainly
does come as standard. If you later decide you want a
change of scenery then a trip to the on site Thames Bar
should help, as this too enjoys views across London towards Tower Bridge [map].
When considering somewhere scenic to stay you may need
to venture a little outside east London to find the
more picturesque places to stay. For example The
Menizies Prince Regent [map] in Ilford is a four-star
hotel set in the private gardens of a listed Georgian
house. This hotel works as an excellent retreat for
anyone looking for comfort and a touch of luxury –
a great place to enjoy the peace outside the bustle
of the city.
However, for those who don’t want to get too far
away from it all, the hotel’s Essex location is
not too far from shops and entertainments.
