Accomodation in East London |
 |
 |
East London may
not be top of the list when it comes to searching for
a place to stay in the capital but with a great range
of accommodation you are sure to find something to suit.
Although it only has one five
star hotel there are a number of salubrious slumber
centres in the area. The Britannia International Hotel and the Ramada Hotel and Suites [map] are both four star accommodations that feature panoramic
views of the city and high quality rooms in Canary
Wharf.
Located on the banks of the River Thames is the Thistle Tower Hotel [map].
This 800-room establishment overlooking the carefully
restored St Katherine’s Dock boasts spectacular
views from every room and is close to Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf [map] and several cafes and restaurants.
For those looking for accommodation on the less expensive
end of the scale east London has guest
houses, bed and breakfasts and budget accommodation to choose from.
Some hotel alternatives to these are the Express Holiday
Inn [map] in Limehouse and the comfort class City Hotel [map],
E1, close to the City so great for both business
travellers and tourists alike.
But if you want to be close to the action…. the
football action that is - then the Quality Hotel located
within West Ham football ground will be ideal. Some double
rooms have views across the pitch and the ground is also
home to a museum and megastore, so unless you are returning
home there’s almost no need to leave!
