Guide to East London |
 |
 |
East London is
gaining a reputation for being the up-and-coming side
of the city so now has its fair share of trendy bars,
cool clubs and an eclectic mix of live music to enjoy
– Shoreditch and Hackney are a good bet if you're
looking for entertainments of an evening.
For a one-stop shop for evening attractions Canary
Wharf [map] should fit the bill. The area is known for its
business reputation but when the sun goes down the office
dwellers relax and unwind at nearby bars and at shows
in Cabot Hall [map].
For daytime pursuits there is no one place to head
for as there is so much available. For sports, the area
has three major league football clubs but has the Docklands
for water related pursuits. Bargain hunters can head
to one of the many markets in the area while fashion
fiends can head for E1.
Culture connoisseurs can find museums, art galleries
and much much more across east London as the area begins
to embrace its past and its artistic inhabitants.
East London is fast becoming the entertainments hotspot
of the capital.
