Clubbing In Central London |
 |
 |
Celebrate in style with a night on the town and enjoy
some of the best dance, DJ’s and atmospheres in
the whole of London.
There’s a range of top name clubs in Central London
all with their unique themes offering a different experience
to the seasoned clubber as well as those just looking
for a fun night out.
Hang out with the rich and famous at the range of celebrity
haunts around. Check out the popular Cargo [map],
Rivington Street. Just three years old and this club sets
the standard that many clubs in London try to emulate.
Cargo has music, dance and food in abundance and offers
jazz, hip hop, funk and soul.
Fabric [map] is another of those legendary London venues,
but this one has been on the go for years. Fabric continues
to live up to its reputation and offers punters a great
range of top acts and new DJs as well as established favourites
such as Ali B and Andrew Weatherall.
If you’re into big nights full of glamour it’s
time to experience Heaven [map],
the famous gay nightclub. Located at Under The Arches,
Villiers Street, for some excellent diva house and superstar
DJ’s including John Digweed and Andy Almighty who host the flagship Saturday night Heaven party.
For cutting edge house try AKA [map],
West Central Street. Hosting some decidedly happening
events including Blonde, with top DJs, and Spirit with
DJ Cosmo.
Those who like a mellower sound should check out The
Bump, Ben Jamin’s weekly escapade into the world
of RnB. The Bump happens at Sound London [map],
Wardour Street.
If you’re looking for a place to party that has
a more mature crowd there are plenty of over 25s nights
around.
Langley [map],
Langley Street, has a great reputation for fun nights
out. Reserve an area for you and your friends or just
mingle in the huge underground layout. You can also get
a proper glass of wine or a fancy cocktail here. Girls
can also have fun at The Costa Dorada [map],
Hanway Street. Mixing Spanish atmosphere, tapas and a
great late night party zone, Costa Dorada is a great place
for hen parties or ladies-only drinking and dancing.
Head over to The City for fun and games at Mother [map],
Old Street. Above the 333 Club, this is the place
for gangs of buddies who can’t decide which musical
taste to go for. Choose from an eclectic mix of disco,
rock, pop and soul, and you can shake your booty to all
night long.
For late night opening check out Sway [map],
Great Queen Street, a lively and happening place which
is extremely popular. Better to head there early to get
a seat.
