The Morning After in Cambridge |

 |
After a heady night out partying, you just might feel like your head has carried on without you, and if you awaken feeling less than fresh you’ll need to head out to your nearest brunch or lunch venue and recover in style.
Cazimir [map] is a Polish café offering Sunday treats from noon to 5:00pm. Go for the healthy alternative to a large fry up and instead enjoy all the goodness that Poland has to offer including a great selection of Houmous and lots of unusual sandwich fillings.
Indigo [map] is something of a hidden gem in Cambridge and offers a cosy purple décor in which to hide from the world if your head needs some time to recover. You can pick up some tasty toasted sandwiches including that essential bacon and eggs hit.
Offering 100 per cent vegetarian cuisine Madal Bal Café [map] on Mill Road, has some nice and spicy food to perk you up on a Sunday morning. The calming panpipes that resound around this snug little café should soon put you in a mellow mood.
If, however, the morning comes too soon and you’re in need of your fry up earlier, escape from the next door nightclub Toxic 8 and head to 24-hour café Bar 8 [map] on Guildhall Place. This is one of those places that can offer you a slap-up meal at midnight. You can choose from such delicious cuisine as prawn skewered kebabs and confit of duck. It means you can give those greasy takeaways a miss for one night!
