Gay Bars in Cambridge |
 |
 |
If you’re looking for some fun during your stay in Cambridge or are keen to check out the local scene, you might be surprised to discover that there’s not exactly an abundance of exclusive gay bars. Many of the pubs and clubs in the area are certainly gay friendly though, so you should feel right at home wherever you go.
When an event has a name like Alternate Dot Cotton you know it’s going to be fun and the monthly night at Man On The Moon [map] certainly lives up to expectations.
Get passed the regular-looking Front Bar with its widescreen TV and pool tables and head to The Back Room where it all goes on.
Favoured by gay students new to the scene as well as straight party kings and queens Unique@Life [map] is one of the friendliest places you can be. Playing a funky mix of house, pop and R’n’B and offering a line up of fabulous DJs, everyone is welcome here. There’s no dress code, so get dolled up to the nines or slip out in a pair of trusted jeans, the choice is yours.
