| A family shopping
expedition can be a stressful but necessary event. If
you want to enjoy some R & R (relaxation and retail)
therapy head to Broadmead [map],
which is a huge “one stop shop” for all
your families needs.
The large area is home to more than 400 stores as well as a large number of pubs, restaurants, and
bars, and what’s more, it’s not in some
hard to reach, out of town location, it’s right
in the city centre of Bristol. There’s also a
huge expansion planned for Broadmead that might just
put it in the top five largest shopping areas in the
UK.
Separated into four coloured zones the shopping
area offers everything for your family and your home,
including gifts, clothing, footwear and furnishings.
Stores include Virgin Megastore, Boots, The Natural
World Giftshop, Bear Factory, and The Early Learning
Centre.
Whenever you need to you can take a breather in one
of Broadmead’s eateries. There’s plenty
to choose from including Hickory Grill, Greggs, Singapore
Sam, Burger King, and Zacks.
There’s also access for wheel-chair users and baby changing facilities as well as cash points
and public telephones on all floors of the shopping
centre.
