 |
 |
When evening draws in Bristol starts to hot up, so don’t forget to catch a cab into the city centre and check out some of these exciting venues.
The Cooler [map], Park Street, hosts a range of nights to appeal to every hardened clubber. Enjoy Giant Robot which is all about rave and dance music, Klub Kute which plays the best in British and American indie every Saturday, and popular gay night Wonky, which is one of the few alternative gay nights in the area and not a glitter ball in sight!
If you’re looking for a chic city centre venue head to Fuchsia [map] on Nelson Street, which is where the beautiful people congregate. This restaurant, bar, lounge and club offers soul, hip hop and R ‘n’ B in one of the best dressed venues in the area. Leave your trainers, caps and hoodies at home and prepare to dress in your sexiest clothes for a top night out.
Those in the mood for fun, fun, fun should make sure they visit The Queen’s Shilling [map] on Frogmore Street, which is the area's leading gay venue. Enjoy some funky house, glam house and disco, as well as some of the campest characters you’re ever likely to meet.
Fancy seeing some serious DJs? Head to the award-winning Elbow Room [map] on Park Street, where you’ll find a chilled out environment that hosts some superstar DJs as well as fresh young talent. There’s also pool tables and a bar serving some hearty meals to line your stomach.
Go for something completely different and feel some Latino passion flow through your veins with a visit to Salsa Mania at Fiesta Havana [map] on Nicholas Street. Here you’ll be able to dance your feet off with a range of rooms to satisfy your Spanish interests, and there are some fantastic cocktails served here to help you loosen up.
