looking forward to escaping from the chores with a holiday by the
sea, we all miss the little home comforts we’re so used to. That’s why it’s worth making the most of the many bed and breakfasts on offer in Blackpool, where you can enjoy a relaxing break in a homely atmosphere. Your choice of accommodation will probably depend on which part of Blackpool you want to stay; North Shore for the Grand Theatre, Central Shore for the Tower, or South Shore for the Pleasure Beach. Alternatively you could try the Windsor Guesthouse [map] on Palatine Road, which has nine bedrooms that provide comfortable accommodation for lone-travellers, groups or families. For a hotel close to the famous Pleasure Beach and the promenade in South Shore, look no further than the Canberra Hotel [map] on Withnell Road, which is close enough to the action but far enough away from the noisy pubs and clubs. Or there’s the Cartmel Guest House [map] on Nelson Road, which offers good hotel accommodation with bed and breakfast facilities. It is ideally located just off the prom and close to all the amenities between the south and central piers.
