Bed & Breakfast in Blackpool |
 |
 |
No matter how much we’re
looking forward to escaping from the chores with a holiday by the
sea, we all miss the little home comforts we’re so used to.
That’s why it’s worth making the most of the many bed
and breakfasts on offer in Blackpool, where you can enjoy a relaxing
break in a homely atmosphere.
Your choice of accommodation will probably depend on which part of
Blackpool you want to stay; North Shore for the Grand Theatre,
Central Shore for the Tower, or South Shore for the
Pleasure Beach.
For those opting to stay in North Shore area then the family-run Seaview
B&B [map]
is worth checking out as it is close to all the amenities and has
en suite facilities available. This friendly and welcoming hotel is
located on Cocker Street.
Also situated in North Shore is the Warwick Guest House [map]
on Warley Road, where a warm welcome is assured. All the bedrooms
here have a colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities and central heating.
There is a good range of restaurants and bars close by and all the
major attractions of the Victorian-style North Shore, such as the
Grand Theatre and North Pier, are within easy reach.
If you’re after a hotel close to the central pier area then
head for the Lynmar Hotel [map]
on High Street, a small homely B&B in the heart of Blackpool
near a wealth of pubs, clubs and Blackpool Tower.
Alternatively you could try the Windsor Guesthouse [map]
on Palatine Road, which has nine bedrooms that provide comfortable
accommodation for lone-travellers, groups or families.
For a hotel close to the famous Pleasure Beach and the promenade in
South Shore, look no further than the Canberra Hotel [map]
on Withnell Road, which is close enough to the action but far enough
away from the noisy pubs and clubs.
Or there’s the Cartmel Guest House [map]
on Nelson Road, which offers good hotel accommodation with bed
and breakfast facilities. It is ideally located just off the prom
and close to all the amenities between the south and central piers.
